I plan to sell pies and tarts at a local farmers market this summer, so I needed more tart pans (I owned only one). I bought 4 of the Fox Run tart pans because online they looked similar to my old tart pan. When they arrived, I was shocked at the heavy duty construction and nonstick coating of the new pans. The Fox Run pans make my old tart pan look like flimsy junk! With Amazon's 4-for-3 Promotion, they were quite the bargain. I remember paying close to $8 for my old pan at a specialty store 20 years ago. I will shop for Fox Run products in the future.

Five of the 12 cups in the pan buckled (or dimpled) on first use: baking tarts in a pre-heated 325F over, starting from room temperature. On receipt, it seemed exactly as advertised but our experience suggests this pan is not strong enough for its purpose. (It can still be used, but the tart bottoms are no longer be elegant.)

This pan was listed at several cooking websites - for a LOT more money. I wanted to make tarts for my Christmas baking, so I took a chance and ordered 2 of these pans. What a great decision! Even though the recipe called for greasing the pans before placing the dough, I chose not to and they didn't stick at all. I think they're the exact same pans listed on other sites for $15 to $25 per pan. I won't use anything else, the tarts came out perfectly.
