Great product, just not what I expected based on product description. I wanted an uncoated mini muffin/mini cupcake pan. Instead, this is a "petite" muffin pan, which is significantly LARGER than "mini" cupcakes, while smaller & shallower than standard-sized muffins/cupcakes. Measurements for these "petite" muffin cups are not on packaging nor on Nordic Ware's website. I'm guessing 1.5-2" diameter, and .75" deep. It is a very high-quality uncoated pan (for those who want to avoid non-stick). Outside dimensions of the pan are 10.75 x 16.5". To clean: Other Nordic Ware pan instructions recommend using warm soapy water, and say that dishwasher use will not affect the baking properties, but it will affect the appearance. (High-acid foods such as vinegar & tomatoes will also impact the appearance, but not baking properties).

This pan is aluminum for quick baking, but has a stainless steel reinforcement under the lip that runs around the edge of the pan. Naturally, it has to be handwashed, but you can scrub it with something if you like as long as you don't mind scratches, unlike nonstick pans (we don't care for nonstick pans here and for muffins use environmentally friendly muffin liners.) For us, this pan is primarily for what we call tarts, but many call tartlets. Also, it's made in the US.

I like this pan a lot. This pan is nice in making mini tart or mini pies because of the size of the cavity. Perfect for making mincemeat pies! Imagine making your mini pecan pie topped with whipped cream. My only complain about this pan is that it is not non stick. You have to butter each hole to have a clean and easy release of whatever you bake in it. Other than that very good pan and best of all it is MADE IN U.S.AGuarantee it is a good quality pan. I highly recommend this pan.
