My aunt was kind enough to loan me this muffin pan, and it's a nice piece of bakeware. Sturdy, heavy, and quite nice to look at. Bakes evenly. The nice feature is that the edges of the pan come out a bit away from the cupcakes/muffins, so that when I reach into the oven with a big ol' oven mitt to grab the pan, there's enough room on the edge of the pan that I don't smash the edges of the cupcakes or muffins with the oven mitt. My other muffin pans don't have this and I wish they did, it makes it a little easier when I'm in a hurry and don't want to let all the heat out of the oven.I always use cupcake liners, even with muffins, so I can't speak for the nonstick aspect of this pan. But should you decide to not use liners and instead grease the insides of the muffin pan, don't use nonstick spray like Pam. When you bake it, the aerosol propellant makes Pam turn into a sticky gummy mess that cannot be scrubbed off (I didn't do this with this Paula Deen pan, but I've made this mistake with other nonstick muffin pans and loaf pans). Instead, you'll want to use shortening, butter, or vegetable oil on a paper towel to grease the inside, or put vegetable oil into some kind of mister (non-aerosol).

I'd highly recommend any of the aluminized steel bakeware from Paula Deen. Baked goods come out nice and golden, don't seem to stick, and bake evenly. I only have the champagne colored items and they work beautifully!
