I used this for a jello mold as instructed on the packaging and it stuck (as I kind of assumed it would). I tried a cake mix w/ just spray oil and it was "ok". Probably will try spray oil and a little baking mix to see if I can get more definition of the pumpkins to show through. Might work better as an Ice mold. Still love the silicone products. I just think this mold has a lot of detail that gets lost. Just.... ok, nothing spectacular.

I was seriously excited about this pan when I bought it. I have never used silicone in my baking so perhaps my pitfalls are caused by lack of knowledge in dealing with this material. But I found that I didn't get a very good 'face' on my baked items. And I had to cook things a lot longer than with metal pans. Something I didn't know when first pulling it out of the oven. Its a little difficult when doing muffins to peel them out of the pan. All in all I'm sure its a great pan for someone more comfortable with them!
