my cupcakes came out ok.They don't really look like most cupcakes look.They don't brown at all because of the silicone.This was a good idea but I would prefer a diffrent kind of pan.I don't really see my self useing this much.

I was looking for a pan to make individual cheesecakes and tiramisu and... well the possibilities are numerous.The available metal mini cheesecake pans have some unsatisfactory reviews: rust, small cups.I've seen photos of this item that show the Cupcake Secret with loose bases, so I ordered a set to see if it would work. I received the order this morning, and the set is as described and better than expected. I often use silicon for baking, and am confident that with some simple adjustment to the loose bases this set will be just what I need.Each cell is a generous size: loose base diameter 2 3/4 in, top diameter 4 1/8 in, depth 1 1/2 in. The Cupcake Secret sets have 6 large cups, while similar loose base tins on Amazon have 12 small cups each.Filled cupcakes can be made without the spikes which were easily snipped off. I am sure I'll find some use for the tiny silicon cups that come with the set. It might be time for me to try my hand at chocolate making.I am so satisfied with my purchase that I immediately ordered three more sets. One more for my own use, and the other two for gifts to friends who bake.
