I looked at so many mini-muffin pans before deciding on this one. Each company's pan has a different shape as far as the muffins go, but the portion size generally remains the same.This one is heavy enough that it will never warp, and it's very easy to pick up the tray with one hand, even with an oven mitt, because of the sloped sides with a little room on the edges.The only downside is that along the sides where the metal is rolled, it's very easy for batter and oil to get caught there, and once it does, it's almost impossible to fully clean. Maybe muffin pans aren't meant to last a lifetime, but design flaws like that are disappointing.

Not sure why I bothered reading all those reviews only to have Amazon send a different Norpro Nonstick 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan than the one pictured on the web page. Other reviewers seem to have received the pictured pan. Too much trouble to return it. I'll keep the pan. I'm sure it will make muffins. I would have saved a lot of time just picking up any old pan at the grocery store.
