The USA Pans 12 cup Cupcake / Muffin Pan is constructed of aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. The metal thickness of this pan has been selected to allow for even heat distribution and maximum service life. An important and unique feature of this pan is its corrugated design. Corrugation maximizes the pans strength and prevents warping, denting and other effects of everyday use. No need for messy and unhealthy oil and grease. This pan is coated with Americoat. Americoat is a proprietary silicone coating. It provides a clear, non-stick, non-toxic baking surface, specially formulated for superior baking. It's FDA approved; it does not contain PTFE's or PFOA's. It is not recommended to exceed baking temperature of 400 degrees F. Easy care. To clean, simply wipe clean after use; soap and water are okay to use. It is not recommended that pan be washed in dishwasher because harsh chemicals can cause the non-stick material to breakdown in time. Dry pan completely, after cleaning. I now have 4 USA pans, and the muffin one was going to be the real test. Any muffin pan I've ever had leaves things stuck on the sides and is hard to clean. I've made egg/bacon/cheese muffins, and just tried bread pudding muffins, and nothing stuck to this pan! I highly recommend switching to USA pans.

I love this USA Pans muffin pan! Muffins and cupcakes cook more evenly (the outer crust is more tender, and the cupcakes/muffins end up more evenly cooked) and I am delighted with how the cooked items slide right out. After about ten batches now, not a single muffin has stuck to the pan - even the muffin tops that rise over the edge onto the surrounding portion of the pan don't stick.Terrific product. I am going to order a second one so I can cook twice as many to meet the requests I am getting for more at the office...
